ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS

Monthly Meetings

Pack Meetings

Once a month we get together to hear from members of our community, play games that reinforce scouting principles, and celebrate our achievements.

Den Meetings

Den meetings are the core activity of Cub Scouts. Dens (scouts of same age) meet at least once a month for exciting activities working towards rank advancements.

Special Events

Mentioned below are some examples of seasonal events that we plan throughout the year depending on pack's interest and availability.

Hikes

We like to get outside for hikes around the Bay Area, from a gentle stroll along San Francisco Bay to adventure in the local mountains.

Camping

We organize pack camp-outs in the fall as well as in the spring each year. Enjoy fun around the campfire.

Pinewood Derby

Scouts build wooden race cars and race them down a track. A Scouting tradition!

Service Projects

We organize service projects that benefit local community, such as bay cleanup, assisting a school PTA or local organization etc

Field Trips

Whether an overnight at the USS Hornet or a visit to Alcatraz Island, or a train trip to a Rail Museum, field trips are fun learning experiences.

Annual Rank Advancement Ceremony

Late spring/early summer is the time to celebrate our scouts' advancements to their next ranks, which includes the "arrow of light ceremony".

Honoring Those Who Served

On Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day, we place hundreds of American flags to honor those who served our country.

Blue and Gold Breakfast

Celebrate the founding of Scouting with the community breakfast. Everyone enjoys the pancakes prepared by the Webelos Den!

Kite Flying

The shoreline of the San Francisco and San Pablo Bays provide plenty of wind to fly kites year-round.
