We'd be thrilled to have you join our pack. Here's how to join.
New Scouts
Pack 30 welcomes all children in Kindergarten through 5th grade, regardless of gender, belief system, or other characteristics.
Fill out the Pack 30 Interest form.Â
We will respond to let you know if we are accepting new scouts at your child's grade level, or if we currently have a wait list.Â
Please note that we are an all-volunteer organization and may not be able to respond immediately.
If we have a wait list at your child's grade level and you'd like to become a den leader so we can accept new scouts, please let us know! No prior scouting or outdoors experience is required.
We invite you to visit a Pack meeting before paying dues, to make sure scouting is right for you.
Pay dues.Â
If we can accept your scout into one of our existing dens, we will send you a link to register with the national Scouting Organization. You will be assigned to Pack 30.
National membership and area ("council") program are here. ($234 total for 2026)
Your 1-year membership will need to be renewed every 12 months.
We also have annual pack dues of $125 (link will be sent along with national registration information).Â
Total fees: $359.
We offer scouterships to ensure that cost is not a barrier to participation. If these fees present a hardship for your family, please contact finance@berkeleypack30.org.
Returning Scouts
Returning Scouts re-register individually through my.scouting.org.
https://my.scouting.org/tools/my-applications
Click on the "My Renewals" tab
Parents can renew their Scout's registration online two months before the membership expires.
In addition to national/council membership fees, please pay pack dues of $125 here.Â
Total payment will be $359.
Fill-out, sign and email us back the signed copy of the Annual Health Consent Form - please fill out all three pages
Adult MembershipÂ
Pack 30 is entirely run by volunteers. Any time you can offer is greatly appreciated!Â
We need some adult leaders to register with Scouting America, but those in behind-the-scenes positions may not need to. The Pack can reimburse registration fees for positions in which we need you to register, but please discuss with us first.
Previously registered adult leaders can renew their registration online two months before the membership expires.
Additional Info Regarding Fees
We don't want the fees to be a hurdle for any family to join the pack. If you need financial aid, please email finance@berkeleypack30.org.
